The role involves developing new business and managing customer relationships as an Account Executive in the enterprise storage technology sector, focusing on prospecting, closing sales, and collaborating with partners to expand Pure Storage's presence in the mid-market private sector in France.
Key Responsibilities
Develop new business by prospecting into targeted mid-market accounts
Build and maintain relationships with customers and key accounts
Collaborate with sales, pre-sales, partner sales, and marketing teams to drive sales success
Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to secure new customers and expand existing accounts
Identify and engage new prospects to build a sales pipeline
Execute daily prospecting activities to meet or exceed sales quotas
Work with channel, GSI, and ecosystem partners to position products effectively
Implement targeted account strategies to close new business
Present proposals to customers highlighting product value and technical differentiation
Maintain a strong sales pipeline and exceed sales targets
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of field sales experience.
Proven success in exceeding sales quotas and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
Experience with direct and indirect sales in the commercial sector, especially within the Enterprise Strategic mid-market.
Demonstrated success in prospecting into new accounts, indicating strong prospecting skills.
Experience working with Channel, GSI, and Ecosystem Partners.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, demonstrating adaptability.
Exposure to sectors such as Healthcare, Insurance, Energy, Utilities, Retail, and Industrial Construction is highly valued.
Capable of leading infrastructure sales conversations with technical stakeholders, demonstrating technical acumen.
Excellent time management and communication skills, including professional written and verbal communication in French and English.
Language proficiency in French and English at a professional level.
