Job Description
The role involves selling enterprise storage solutions to customers in the Greater Seattle Area, building strong relationships, leading sales strategies, and exceeding quotas through consultative and team-based selling efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate strategy and manage relationships with assigned accounts
- Collaborate with team members and partners to close sales opportunities
- Evangelize and promote Pure Storage's data storage solutions to customers
- Build and maintain relationships to ensure high customer satisfaction
- Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to secure new customers
- Manage sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas
- Engage in prospecting to identify and acquire new customers
- Navigate complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders
- Assess customer needs and position solutions to address business challenges
- Drive post-sales customer success and ongoing account growth
Requirements
- 5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development, consistently delivering 5-10 million USD per year in revenues.
- Experience selling into customers in the Greater Seattle Area and currently residing in Seattle, WA.
- Ability to coordinate the overall strategy and relationship between assigned accounts and Pure Storage.
- Experience leading team-selling efforts with teammates and strategic partners around the globe to close business on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quota and driving referenceable business.
- Ability to build and invest in relationships with customers to establish Pure's value and drive customer satisfaction.
- Experience leading pursuit teams and developing account plans to engage internal resources to execute and win new customers.
- Ability to drive and manage a healthy and robust pipeline of sales activity to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication, with the ability to build and deepen relationships over time.
- Expertise in leading a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners.
- Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a sales territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency.
- Demonstrated thought leadership, creativity, and a Challenger Mindset, with the ability to apply customer insights and technology solutions to solve persistent problems.
- Authenticity and a genuine desire to engage customers and understand their business challenges.
- Avid hunter with proven prospecting skills, consistently opening doors to new customers and navigating between the boardroom and data center while positioning Pure Storage solutions.

Annual base salary range of $119,000 to $178,500 USD
