Job Description
The role involves evangelizing Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions, building customer relationships, and driving sales activities to meet or exceed quotas. Candidates should have a strong background in outside sales, particularly in new logo acquisition, and a passion for customer success.
Key Responsibilities
- Evangelize Pure's all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions
- Build and invest in relationships with customers to establish Pure's value
- Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans for new customer acquisition
- Drive and manage a healthy pipeline of sales activity to meet quotas
- Assess, plan, and actively manage a territory for maximum revenue
- Lead a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders
- Consistently exceed sales quotas and drive referenceable business
Requirements
- 5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development, consistently delivering 5-10M per year in revenues.
- Experience outside of traditional storage for the past consecutive 5 years.
- Must be located in the Greater Detroit Metro Area.
- Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency.
- Expertise leading a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including written and oral communication, able to build relationships easily and deepen them over time.
