Job Description

The role involves selling all-flash enterprise storage solutions to commercial customers, building strong relationships, leading sales strategies, and exceeding revenue targets through consultative and team-based sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evangelize Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers to demonstrate Pure's value and ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources and secure new customers
  • Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Assess customer needs and position Pure's solutions to address their business challenges
  • Identify and prospect new customers to expand the customer base
  • Lead complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders and foster teamwork with partners

Requirements

  • 5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development, consistently delivering 5-10 million USD per year in revenues
  • Experience selling into Commercial customers in Missouri, specifically the Kansas City Metro area
  • Ability to lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to ensure all internal resources are engaged to execute and win new customers
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quota and driving referenceable business
  • Ability to build and invest in relationships with customers to establish value and drive high customer satisfaction ratings
  • Experience building and managing a healthy and robust sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas
  • Expertise leading a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication, able to build relationships easily and deepen them over time
  • Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a sales territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency
  • Strong prospecting skills with a proven ability to open doors to new customers and position solutions effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to evangelize and explain complex technology solutions, specifically all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions
  • Genuine desire to engage customers and understand their business challenges
  • Thought leadership, creativity, and a Challenger Mindset, with the ability to apply customer insights and technology expertise to position solutions
  • Physical ability to navigate between the boardroom and data center as required
  • Educational background or equivalent experience in sales or related field (implied by experience requirements)

Annual base salary range of 108,500 - 163,000 USD
