The role involves selling Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage solutions to commercial customers in the East Bay Area, building strong customer relationships, leading sales strategies, and exceeding sales quotas through consultative and team-based selling efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Evangelize Pure Storage's all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions to customers
Build and develop relationships with customers to demonstrate Pure's value and ensure high customer satisfaction
Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources and secure new customers
Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
Assess customer needs and position solutions to address business challenges
Prospect and open new customer accounts through effective outreach and relationship building
Lead complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders and foster teamwork with partners
Drive post-sales customer success and ensure ongoing customer engagement
Requirements
8 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development, consistently delivering 5-10 million USD per year in revenues
Experience selling into Commercial customers in the East Bay Area or living and currently selling in the Bay Area
Ability to lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to ensure all internal resources are engaged to execute and win new customers
Proven track record of exceeding sales quota and driving referenceable business
Experience building and investing in relationships with customers to establish value and drive customer satisfaction ratings
Ability to build relationships easily and deepen them over time through excellent interpersonal skills including written and oral communication
Expertise leading a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders, fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners
Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a sales territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency
Avid hunter with proven prospecting skills, consistently opening doors to new customers and positioning solutions effectively
Authenticity and a genuine desire to engage customers and understand their business challenges
Thought leadership, creativity, and a Challenger Mindset, with the ability to apply customer insights and technology expertise to position solutions
Ability to evangelize all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions, ensuring customers understand the total value proposition
