Lexington Production Control Specialist

The Production Control Specialist is responsible for designing, optimizing, and maintaining all production processes from a technical standpoint, to achieve maximum efficiency, meet quality standards, and ensure timely order fulfillment to meet On Time Delivery goals. This role participates to Continuous Improvement initiatives, monitors KPIs, and collaborates across Teams to maintain production schedules and delivery commitments to the customers. The position will also participate in the Plant expansion projects and any Plant layout optimization. It will supervise direct reports, with a clear career path toward a Process Unit Manager role.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.
• Experience in Operations, Production Control, Scheduling, or Process Optimization
• Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft excel and production reporting tools
• Experience in cable manufacturing or high-volume manufacturing environment
• Leadership or supervisory experience in a 24/7 operation
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies
• Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
• Ability to manage production schedules and support On-Time Delivery (OTD) goals
• Experience with KPI tracking, data analysis, and process improvement
• Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
