Job Description
Ability to read, understand, and assist in interpreting safety procedures, work instructions, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), equipment manuals, regulatory information, and other technical documents.
Key Responsibilities
The role would report to onsite HSE Manager daily and be given engaging projects that would help develop the student into a successful HSE Professional.
Requirements
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The Safety Intern must be able to work effectively in both office and manufacturing environments and interact professionally with production employees, supervisors, maintenance personnel, and other departments.
- Must currently be pursuing a degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field .
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred but not required. Coursework or experience related to occupational safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, environmental compliance, or manufacturing operations is a plus.
