Job Description
The Energy Efficiency Lead Technician at PosiGen is responsible for providing energy efficiency solutions to residential customers, conducting site assessments, and guiding technicians in implementing upgrades to improve energy efficiency and reduce costs for homeowners.
Key Responsibilities
- Install energy efficient upgrades in residential projects
- Conduct physical site assessments using various diagnostic equipment
- Prepare documentation of energy efficiency upgrades for database upload
- Analyze failures and take corrective action based on findings
- Provide guidance to improve technician performance
- Maintain quality service by enforcing standards and resolving issues
- Identify opportunities to better serve customers through energy efficiency work
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Experience in residential construction and or maintenance industry preferred
- BPI Building Analyst - technician certification required
- BPI Building Analyst - professional certification required
- BPI Infiltration and Duct Leakage Certification required
- Proficient with computers, phones, and other office equipment
- Availability to work some Saturdays
- Ability to lift thirty five pounds (35lbs)
- Ability to work at heights and on ladders
- Physical ability to work in tight areas, hot attics, crawl spaces, hatch doors, etc.
- Ability to work with fiberglass, cellulose, foam, mastic, and caulk in a safe manner
- Must possess a valid driver's license

Compensation/salary range: 26-28 USD
Availability to work some Saturdays
