Job Description
The Director of Process Improvement leads efforts to enhance business processes and operational efficiencies across the organization, collaborating with various teams to establish a culture of process documentation and continuous improvement. This role involves managing process improvement initiatives, developing training programs, and utilizing methodologies like Lean Six Sigma to drive measurable enhancements in performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise efforts to develop and improve business processes and practices.
- Collaborate with leaders and cross-functional teams to increase operational efficiencies.
- Develop and manage documentation templates and standards for business process management.
- Evaluate existing processes and workflows for opportunities to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Define KPIs to measure the success of improvement initiatives.
- Develop and curate training materials to enhance organizational capabilities.
- Train, coach, and mentor Green Belts and project sponsors.
- Create an enterprise business process repository and assist with implementation.
- Establish a Green Belt program improvement community.
- Lead efforts to incorporate continuous improvement methodologies into the culture.
- Quantify the business impact of process improvement initiatives through metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field OR equivalent work experience.
- 7 years of experience in process improvement, change management, or quality improvement business transformations.
- 5 years of experience leading process improvement initiatives.
- Black Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma or equivalent required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving measurable improvements in operational performance.
- Expert-level knowledge of relevant software tools and technologies for process mapping, data analysis, and performance tracking.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Regular responsibilities include speaking, listening, standing, walking, using hands for handling or feeling, and reaching with arms.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: 140,000 - 175,000 USD
Hybrid work schedule: 2-3 days onsite
Expected travel: Up to 20%
