Job Description
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Planet is responsible for nurturing and developing high-quality accounts and leads within the North America territory to support seasoned Account Executives. This remote position involves collaborating on strategy and relationship development to drive sales growth for the company's satellite imaging and data services.
Responsibilities
- •Own and develop a territory with high-quality accounts and leads.
- •Collaborate with Account Executives and field marketers to enhance engagement.
- •Understand Planet's product ecosystem and facilitate seamless hand-offs to Account Executives.
- •Research accounts to identify key stakeholders and generate interest.
- •Create account plans and identify compelling events.
Requirements
- •2 years of relevant experience in sales or business development.
- •Experience prospecting a SaaS product or service to Fortune 2000, global, and/or government accounts.
- •Demonstrated ability to learn complex topics and weave great stories into effective messaging and business outcomes for targeted campaigns.
- •Excellent written communication, phone, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- •Ability to be a proactive, independent thinker with a high energy positive attitude.
