Job Description
The role involves leading technical sales teams in the EMEA region to provide expert advice on geospatial and remote sensing solutions, building customer relationships, and driving revenue through strategic account management and solution selling in the Earth Observation industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Pre-Sales Solution Architects in the EMEA region to provide technical sales support.
- Develop and execute account planning and sales strategies to maximize customer engagement and revenue.
- Provide trusted technical advice to customers on Earth Observation and geospatial solutions.
- Conduct customer meetings, presentations, demonstrations, and workshops to showcase solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and partners to deliver technical assessments and successful projects.
- Gather customer feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Establish and maintain relationships with industry peers to share best practices and ensure high standards.
Requirements
- Six years of experience managing a successful technical sales team.
- Eight years of experience working in software or technical sales.
- Solid technical fluency with system architectures, cloud environments, complex data pipelines, and technical proposal writing.
- Ability to effectively engage customers at the executive level to clearly articulate technical complexity and strategic business value.
- Consultative selling experience with a proven track record of success.
- Customer centric and data-driven approach, able to turn insights into meaningful actions.
- Excellent human skills including organization, prioritization, problem-solving, assertiveness, proactivity, curiosity, adaptability, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to partner with Product, Marketing, and Sales leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, GIS Remote Sensing, or a comparable combination of technical education and relevant work experience.
