Job Description
The Project Development Associate supports solar project development activities, including site assessments, permitting, land use permits, community outreach, and managing third-party contractors, requiring strong organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Support solar site assessments for critical issues related to project development
- Assist in preparing permitting documents
- Manage third-party contractors involved in project development
- Support the preparation and execution of land use permits
- Participate in public outreach, community meetings, and land use hearings
- Assist with interconnection studies
- Provide support for real estate and landowner documentation
Requirements
- Support solar site assessments for critical issues related to project development.
- Provide support for the preparation of permitting documents.
- Assist Developers and Directors in the management of third-party contractors.
- Support the preparation and execution of land use permits.
- Participate in public outreach, community meetings, and land use hearings as needed.
- Assist with interconnection studies related to solar projects.
- Support the management of critical real estate and landowner documents.
- Demonstrate the ability to prioritize, multitask, effectively communicate, and remain highly organized in a project development environment.
