Job Description

The position involves leading the development and growth of strategic accounts within the Industrial Components and Electronics Division, focusing on increasing account share, revenue, and building relationships with key stakeholders in Hyperscale Data Center customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for Hyperscale Data Center customers.
  • Create strategic roadmaps for assigned accounts.
  • Analyze customer culture and supply chain to recommend service improvements.
  • Lead and coordinate business reviews with assigned accounts.
  • Organize cross-functional teams to build relationships with accounts.
  • Manage project transitions and oversee opportunity pipeline health.
  • Develop presentations and proposals for assigned customers.
  • Communicate price negotiation actions to relevant teams.
  • Utilize CRM for customer planning and opportunity tracking.
  • Participate in industry associations and customer events.
  • Demonstrate technical competence on all products within area of focus.
  • Maintain compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Assist in sales promotion of packaged control systems and solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience in a technical discipline.
  • 5 years of proven success in Industrial Controls and Automation Sales required.
  • Experience with Data Center, systems design, components, construction, commissioning, or service required.
  • Must be able to travel via airplane.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to operate an automobile for up to six hours at a time.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. (sample, demos, literature).
  • Must be able to travel overnight 35% or as required by customer location.
  • Some international travel; valid passport required.
  • Demonstrated competence in establishing and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Outstanding communication skills (written, verbal, and listening).
  • Self-motivated with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
  • Successful history in achieving strategic and sales targets.
