Job Description
This part-time position involves providing excellent customer service by answering incoming calls, greeting visitors, and assisting with safety initiatives at Phoenix Contact in Middletown, PA.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain the switchboard to handle incoming calls efficiently and courteously
- Answer all incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel
- Greet visitors professionally and ensure they sign in for safety protocols
- Provide information about the company's products, structure, and operations to callers
- Promote safety initiatives and report unsafe or suspicious activities
Requirements
- Answer all incoming calls and handle them in an efficient and courteous manner.
- Greet all visitors in a courteous professional manner.
- Maintain and operate the switchboard.
- Act as a customer resource regarding the products, structure, and operation of the company to direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate individual.
- Responsible for visitors signing in and acknowledging safety initiatives per process spec SU H-7 64009.
- Maintain visitor PC greetings.
- Complete Kelly Services application, onboarding, and pre-employment screening process.
- Possess knowledge of and basic skills in MS Word and Excel.
- Be attentive to details.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Present a neat, professional appearance.
- Have a strong customer service orientation.
- Be able to work part-time 2-3 days per week with hours from 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM.
