Job Description
The Industrial Sales Engineer (ISE) role focuses on driving sales growth and brand awareness in a regional market, requiring strong technical knowledge and relationship-building skills to manage accounts and develop new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed sales growth objectives established by the Regional Sales Manager.
- Utilize R3 BASE selling skills to build strong customer relationships.
- Conduct a minimum of 16 to 20 sales calls per week, focusing on assigned accounts.
- Demonstrate technical competence on all products and solutions within the area of focus.
- Manage and develop channel partners through joint sales activities and training.
- Drive value-added custom solutions within the assigned account base.
- Assist in the sales promotion of packaged control systems and end-to-end solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience in a technical discipline.
- 3 years of proven sales success in the electronics marketplace.
- Outstanding communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening.
- Self-motivated with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Must be able to travel via airplane.
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to travel via automobile for up to six hours at a time.
- Must be able to obtain a credit card to use for business expenses and report them in a timely manner.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Must be able to travel overnight 25% as dictated by assigned territory.
