The Industrial Sales Engineer (ISE) role focuses on driving sales growth and brand awareness in a regional market, requiring strong technical knowledge and relationship-building skills to manage accounts and develop new opportunities.
Responsibilities
•Meet and exceed sales growth objectives established by the Regional Sales Manager.
•Utilize R3 BASE selling skills to build strong customer relationships.
•Conduct a minimum of 16 to 20 sales calls per week, focusing on assigned accounts.
•Demonstrate technical competence on all products and solutions within the area of focus.
•Manage and develop channel partners through joint sales activities and training.
•Drive value-added custom solutions within the assigned account base.
•Assist in the sales promotion of packaged control systems and end-to-end solutions.
Requirements
•Bachelor's degree strongly preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience in a technical discipline.
•3 years of proven sales success in the electronics marketplace.
•Outstanding communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening.
•Self-motivated with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
•Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
•Must be able to travel via airplane.
•Must have a valid driver's license and be able to travel via automobile for up to six hours at a time.
•Must be able to obtain a credit card to use for business expenses and report them in a timely manner.
•Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
•Must be able to travel overnight 25% as dictated by assigned territory.
