Job Description

The Salesforce Product Manager will lead the development and strategic planning of Palmetto's Salesforce platform, working closely with stakeholders and technical teams to align the system with business needs and drive product enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and communicate the Salesforce product vision and roadmap
  • Manage the Salesforce product backlog, prioritize user stories, and oversee sprint planning
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand and address their evolving needs
  • Lead solutioning discussions and coordinate with the Salesforce development team
  • Manage end-user testing, communication, release management, and rollout of new features
  • Build and maintain reports to support business operations and track project progress
  • Ensure alignment of Salesforce initiatives with cross-functional systems and business priorities
  • Collaborate with other product owners to maintain cross-product consistency

Requirements

  • Three (3) years of experience working in an Agile development environment and participating in Agile ceremonies.
  • Three (3) years of experience at a technology company or consulting firm.
  • Technical aptitude and expertise in the Salesforce platform as well as other applications commonly integrated with Salesforce.
  • Experience translating business needs into strong user stories requirements for new product features.
  • Experience working with middleware for Salesforce such as BOOMI, Tray.IO, or other middleware tools, along with DevOps tools like Gearset or other similar tools.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills to manage priorities and dependencies across teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong leadership skills rooted in high emotional intelligence (EQ), with an ability to rally cross-functional teams towards demanding goals.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize the Salesforce product backlog, including developing, maintaining, and communicating the Salesforce product’s vision and roadmap.
  • Ability to establish and track progress against evolving business initiatives for the Salesforce team.
  • Ability to lead Salesforce product roadmap and sprint planning meetings with the Salesforce development team.
  • Ability to lead solutioning conversations and technologies for products that live within or touch the Salesforce system.
  • Experience managing end-user testing, communications, release management, and roll-out plans for new product feature releases.
  • Employment contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.
