Job Description
A Support Technician role focused on providing technical assistance to employees, primarily in the Philippines, by managing IT systems, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and supporting onboarding and offboarding processes within a fast-growing clean tech company.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the initial point of contact for employee technical support requests.
- Assist in managing and maintaining core IT systems including Google, Salesforce, Slack, Office 365, and others.
- Provide level 1 support for account management, hardware troubleshooting, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Respond promptly to support tickets via Salesforce Service Cloud, Slack, and email.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues such as password resets, software installations, and hardware inquiries.
- Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 or other IT teams when necessary.
- Document and update internal policies, procedures, and technical support resources.
- Assist with setting up and deploying new laptops and equipment for remote employees.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience or similar work history in IT support or related roles.
- A confident and skilled support technician with an equal passion for technology and customer service.
- Ability to confidently prioritize and work through tasks daily.
- Approach challenges and requests with a can-do attitude, helpfulness, thoughtfulness, and consideration of the customer.
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and follow through to ensure complete resolution with limited supervision.
- Basic understanding of IT systems and a desire to expand knowledge of MDM, SSO SAML, AntiVirus, Scripting, Automations, and Onboarding Offboarding systems.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.
