Job Description
A Space Operations Engineer embedded in the Payload Engineering Team responsible for developing services to control satellites, working closely with cross-functional teams to build tools, processes, and products that support satellite operations and customer success.
Key Responsibilities
- Create services to control satellites
- Develop tools, processes, and products for satellite operations
- Collaborate with analytics, software, and product teams to support satellite functionality
Requirements
- Experience in creating services to control satellites as a Space Operations Engineer or in a similar role.
- Ability to work closely with Analytics, Software, and Product Teams to build tools, processes, and products critical to customer success.
- Reporting directly to the VP of Payload Engineering with the capacity to collaborate across engineering teams.
- Proficiency in embedded software development related to space-based infrastructure and satellite payloads.
- Experience with space operations, satellite control systems, or related space engineering disciplines.
- Strong understanding of space-based infrastructure, satellite systems, and payload control mechanisms.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement tools and processes for satellite operations.
