Job Description
A Senior Ground Software Operations Engineer responsible for developing tools, processes, and products to support satellite data operations and ensure customer success in a hyperspectral satellite analytics company.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain tools, processes, and products for ground software operations.
- Collaborate with analytics and software teams to support satellite data processing and management.
- Ensure compliance with ITAR regulations related to space technologies.
Requirements
- Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
- Experience in building tools, processes, and products related to ground software operations, with a focus on supporting satellite data and analytics.
- Ability to work closely with Analytics and Software teams to develop and implement operational tools and processes for satellite ground systems.
- Knowledge of space-based infrastructure and satellite operations, specifically related to hyperspectral satellite data and analytics.
- Understanding of ITAR regulations and compliance requirements related to U.S. Government space technologies.
