Job Description
A Service Engineer at Omnidian is responsible for diagnosing and resolving solar system performance issues, mentoring team members, and driving process improvements to enhance service quality in the renewable energy industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve solar system performance issues
- Identify and troubleshoot technical challenges in solar energy systems
- Mentor and train team members
- Drive process improvements to enhance service delivery
- Apply engineering judgment and problem-solving skills to support operations
Requirements
- Possess engineering expertise, critical thinking, and leadership skills to identify and resolve technical challenges related to solar systems.
- Experience in diagnosing and resolving solar system performance issues.
- Ability to build scalable processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience in training and mentoring team members.
- Location must be in Australia, with a preference for candidates based in Western or Eastern Australia; location is flexible for the right person.
- Must be able to apply judgment, problem-solving capabilities, and passion for renewable energy to make a difference.
- Ability to support and drive impactful process improvements within the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a role that requires critical thinking and applying engineering expertise to real-world challenges.
