Job Description
The Data Governance Manager will lead and enhance data governance efforts at Omnidian, overseeing a team of Data Stewards Analysts, establishing and updating processes and standards, and ensuring data accuracy and consistency to support the company's growth in the solar and energy storage industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead Data Governance efforts
- Lead a team of Data Stewards Analysts
- Enhance and update current Data Governance processes and standards
- Establish new Data Governance processes and standards
- Understand company needs and build a prioritized roadmap
- Execute on the roadmap and evolve the team as the company grows
Requirements
- Experience in building and leading Data Governance efforts.
- Ability to lead a small team of Data Stewards and Analysts, including a mix of direct and dotted-line reports.
- Experience in enhancing and updating current Data Governance processes and standards.
- Experience in establishing new Data Governance processes and standards.
- Ability to understand company needs and build a prioritized roadmap.
- Experience in executing on a roadmap and evolving the team and roadmap as the company evolves.
- Strong leadership skills to build a Data Governance program alongside company growth.
- Location requirement: Must be based in Pittsburgh, upstate NY, or near headquarters in Seattle.
