Job Description

The Contract - Site Representative at Origis Energy will oversee on-site project activities, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental guidelines while managing quality assurance and quality control programs. This role involves monitoring construction progress, conducting inspections, and supporting the project team as the site ambassador.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report site safety and environmental programs
  • Manage company site QAQC program
  • Participate in hiring and training of QAQC personnel
  • Report negative observations to contractors
  • Conduct daily QAQC inspections and verifications
  • Attend daily POD meetings with EPC and contractors
  • Generate POD notes for management
  • Receive materials procured by Origis
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections
  • Complete and distribute weekly/monthly site progress reports
  • Track deficiencies and report to contractors
  • Complete weekly site SWPPP Environmental observations
  • Inspect and maintain assigned vehicles and equipment
  • Support turnover activities as needed
  • Drive the RCA and RFI process
  • Verify and receive O&M spare parts

Requirements

  • Experience in monitoring and reporting of site safety and environmental programs.
  • Experience managing a company site QAQC program.
  • Experience participating in hiring and training of company site QAQC personnel.
  • Ability to report all negative observations to contractors.
  • Experience conducting daily QAQC inspections and verifications.
  • Experience verifying inspections completed by Origis QAQC techs.
  • Experience in generating POD notes to send upstream to the Origis Site Rep Manager and Project Manager.
  • Experience in receiving materials procured by Origis, in coordination with the Origis Construction Logistics Support Manager.
  • Experience conducting daily equipment inspections, if applicable.
  • Experience completing and distributing weekly and monthly site progress reports.
  • Ability to compare site production and progress rates to milestone schedules and report any negative schedule impacts to the Project Manager.
  • Experience in weekly deficiency tracking to contractors.
  • Experience completing weekly site SWPPP Environmental observations and logging and reporting deficiencies to the responsible contractor.
  • Experience in vehicle and equipment inspection and maintenance of assigned vehicles.
  • Experience supporting turnover activities as needed.
  • Experience supporting site transition to Origis Services team, if applicable.
  • Experience driving the RCA and RFI process.
  • Ability to ensure all requirements, drawings, and specifications have been made available by the manufacturers, project manager, EOR to the contractors.
  • Experience verifying and receiving O&M spare parts.
  • Strong safety and environmental knowledge.
  • Ability to read, understand, and utilize construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Bluebeam Revu.
  • Knowledge of solar mechanical equipment and materials.
  • Experience in quality program implementation and execution.
  • Experience in personnel training and management.
  • Experience in process program implementation and management.
