Job Description
An experienced Roofer or Roofer's mate needed to join a UK-wide Solar PV installation team, helping to install solar panels and low-carbon technologies to promote renewable energy and combat climate change.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in installing Solar PV systems on rooftops
- Support the lead roofer in ensuring proper roofing and safety standards
- Prepare roofing materials and tools for installation tasks
- Help with the maintenance and safety checks of roofing equipment
- Collaborate with team members to complete installation projects efficiently
Requirements
- Experience as a Roofer or Roofer's mate, specifically in Solar PV installation or similar roofing work
- Ability to assist with the installation of Solar PV systems on UK homes
- Willingness to work across various locations in the UK, including East Sussex and Kent
- Physical ability to perform roofing tasks, including working at heights and handling roofing materials
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures related to roofing and solar panel installation
- Ability to work as part of a team within a Solar PV installation team
- Commitment to providing high levels of customer service during installation processes
- Ability to follow technical instructions and safety guidelines during installation tasks
