The Procurement Portfolio Manager plays a strategic and hands-on role in connecting suppliers, customers, and colleagues to supply chain operations, supporting the deployment of low-carbon home technologies as part of Octopus Energy's mission to decarbonize homes worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Connect and collaborate with suppliers, customers, and colleagues to facilitate the supply chain for low carbon technology installations
Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and quality delivery of renewable energy products and services
Support the deployment of in-home renewable energy technologies such as smart meters, electric vehicle chargers, solar panels, and home batteries
Coordinate and oversee procurement activities related to renewable energy projects
Travel across the UK to conduct internal and supplier visits, primarily in the Midlands and London
Requirements
Experience in procurement or supply chain management relevant to energy or technology sectors, with a strategic and hands-on approach to connecting suppliers, customers, and colleagues.
Ability to play a strategic but hands-on role in connecting suppliers, customers, and colleagues to the supply chain and bringing low carbon technology to life.
Willingness and ability to travel across the UK for internal office visits and supplier visits, with a focus on locations predominantly in the Midlands and London.
