The internship involves supporting the payments team by managing customer refunds, processing payments, reconciling accounts, and assisting customer service to ensure accurate and efficient handling of customer credit balances in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end cheque process, including sending cheques, processing, and reconciling accounts
Allocate missing payments and reconcile BACS payments onto customer accounts
Review and respond to customer emails regarding payments and liaise with other businesses
Support the repayment process by working with the finance team on payment audits and same-day refunds
Assist customer-facing Energy Specialists with payments and refund-related queries
Communicate directly with customers to resolve payment issues
Requirements
