Job Description

The internship involves supporting vulnerable customers with insolvency and debt solutions by processing cases, liaising with external partners, and maintaining accurate records, all within a compassionate and detail-oriented team focused on financial support and customer care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process formal insolvency cases such as bankruptcies, IVAs, DROs, and DMPs on the operating platform Kraken.
  • Liaise with insolvency practitioners, debt advice organizations, and government departments.
  • Monitor and respond to internal customer service queries related to insolvency cases.
  • Support the broader Sensitive Care team across cross-functional cases.
  • Open and process incoming correspondence related to insolvency cases.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage sensitive customer information.

Requirements

  • Support a variety of formal insolvencies including Bankruptcy, Debt Management Plans (DMPs), Debt Relief Orders (DROs), and Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVAs) on the Kraken operating platform.
  • Liaise with insolvency practitioners, debt advice organisations, and government departments to coordinate case management.
  • Monitor and respond to queries from internal customer service teams related to insolvency cases.
  • Open and process incoming post related to insolvency cases.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage sensitive customer information in accordance with data protection standards.
  • Demonstrate a passion for supporting financially vulnerable people.
  • Possess a keen eye for detail and the willingness to go the extra mile to ensure quality and accuracy in case processing.
  • Be helpful and patient, capable of handling a high volume of questions and challenging situations.
  • Exhibit strong emotional resilience and empathy to support customers through challenging conversations at pace.
  • Be a self-starter who can use their own initiative to problem solve and make sound decisions.
  • Be fluid and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where multiple tasks and priorities may be present.
