Job Description
This internship offers an opportunity to learn about the end-to-end financial operations of a renewable energy company, including investor relations, data analysis, and process improvement, within a supportive and mission-driven environment focused on sustainability and diversity.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn about the end-to-end financial functions, including raising funds, purchasing EVs, terminating contracts, and selling EVs at auction
- Understand how Capital Markets support business scaling, investor relations, and reporting
- Assist Financial Operations teams in improving processes such as issuing bills, identifying non-late payers, and supporting customer queries
- Collaborate with the Analytics Solutions Team to utilize new technologies and approaches for data analysis and automation
Requirements
- A can-do attitude, and the desire to learn by getting stuck in.
- Familiarity with Financial and Accounting concepts.
- Experience using Excel and Google Sheets.
- Ideally, some exposure to Corporate Finance and/or Data analysis.
- Candidates must identify with any Black, Black British, African or Caribbean background, as the internship is only open to candidates who self-identify with these backgrounds.
