You will be a key person responsible for modelling renewable energy projects, joint ventures and TopCo business plans.
Maintain and adapt financial models to monitor valuation and financial performance of investments, conducting regular assessments of overall portfolio performance against objectives and reporting progress to OEGEN fund managers.
You will support the commercial management of multiple development pipelines, working with a team of portfolio managers and developers to track performance against investment cases and agreed milestones.
Support managers and fund managers on value maximisation initiatives for each development project, including exit timing, sale preparation, revenue contracting, last mile development and other activities, ensuring optimal returns to investors on exit. You will drive the exit process of projects and platforms at different stage of their life.
Monitor and interrogate project progress, budgets and KPIs, identifying and escalating risks in a timely manner, and provide briefings and solutions to decision makers (such as board directors and fund managers).
Support in implementing and maintaining governance frameworks across portfolio companies, ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with developers on the preparation of board packs, investment committee materials and other operational review documentation to support senior management.
Track compliance with internal processes and external regulatory requirements, escalating gaps where identified.
Requirements
Strong financial modelling skills (DCFs, business plans). Proficient in financial modelling principles, accounting, project management, data and reporting.
Strong commercial acumen and experience in managing investments, assets and/or development pipelines against investment objectives. Experience in analysing complex data, tracking KPIs, and preparing structured reporting for internal stakeholders.
Be a pro-active and self-starting senior team member who has a strong sense of ownership, “can do” attitude, strong team spirit and ability to grow team members.
Great communication and interpersonal skills, adept at building relationships and presenting analysis to a diverse range of stakeholders.
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Preferably but not mandatory experience in the sale of renewable energy assets (development, in construction or operational stage).
