Job Description
The Finance Manager will provide maternity cover for 12 months, delivering finance support to the UK retail finance team by preparing monthly management accounts, reporting variances, and leading year-end financial statements and audits, while identifying commercial risks and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and prepare monthly management accounts
- Report on variances and provide commercial insight
- Lead preparation of year-end financial statements and audit
- Assist with day-to-day finance management
- Identify commercial risks or opportunities to improve business position
Requirements
- 12 months of maternity cover starting no later than the start of April 2025.
- Experience in delivering a first-class finance support service.
- Ability to support the UK retail finance team in developing and analyzing financial information.
- Experience in coordinating and preparing monthly management accounts.
- Experience in reporting on variances and providing commercial insight.
- Experience in leading the preparation of year-end financial statements and audit.
- Ability to work closely with the business for day-to-day finance management.
- Experience in identifying commercial risks or opportunities to improve business position.
