Job Description
A sales specialist responsible for managing customer sales of electric vehicles through the salary sacrifice scheme, providing expert advice and support throughout the purchasing process, and promoting sustainable, electric transportation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage sales interactions directly with customers focusing on the salary sacrifice product
- Advise and support customers throughout their journey towards purchasing an electric vehicle
- Discuss customer requirements and recommend suitable electric vehicles considering the benefits of going electric and the salary sacrifice scheme
Requirements
- A genuine passion for customer experience and sustainability is a must.
- Strong understanding of process and the importance of customer service.
- Experience in managing sales directly with customers, preferably in the electric vehicle or automotive industry.
- Ability to advise and support customers throughout their journey towards purchasing an electric vehicle (EV).
- Capability to discuss customer requirements and find the perfect vehicle for their lifestyle, considering the salary sacrifice product fully and the benefits of going electric.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and support career progression, continuous learning, and personal development.
- Based in or willing to work in Weybridge, with the role requiring presence in the office 3 days a week.
- Experience with or understanding of salary sacrifice products related to vehicle leasing is preferred but not explicitly stated as mandatory.
- Ability to communicate effectively as the face and voice of Octopus Electric Vehicles, providing advice and support to customers.
- Understanding of the process involved in customer sales and service in the context of electric vehicle leasing or sales.
