Job Description
The Enterprise Business Development Manager is responsible for acquiring large enterprise customers for electric vehicle leasing solutions, building strong relationships with C-suite stakeholders, managing complex sales cycles, and supporting the setup of electric vehicle salary sacrifice schemes, all while promoting sustainability and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the acquisition of large enterprise customers for electric vehicle solutions.
- Manage and lead complex, high-value sales cycles with C-suite stakeholders.
- Advise and support prospective customers in building business cases for electric vehicle schemes.
- Coordinate with legal, finance, and commercial teams to set up electric vehicle salary sacrifice schemes.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with key enterprise clients.
- Identify targets, prospect new business opportunities, and exceed customer expectations.
- Represent Octopus Electric Vehicles as the primary point of contact and voice for enterprise clients.
Requirements
- Significant professional enterprise sales experience
- A track record of exceptional sales performance
- Highly skilled at identifying targets, prospecting, and exceeding customer expectations
- Experience in managing complex, high-value sales cycles
- Experience in building trusted relationships with C-suite stakeholders
- Ability to drive direction, navigate the sales cycle, and fully engage within a high performing team
- Ability to manage sales directly with large business customers, roughly speaking 3,000 employees
- Experience in advising and supporting prospective customers, building detailed justification and business cases, and coordinating with legal, finance, and commercial teams to set up schemes
- Must have a valid UK driving licence
