Job Description

The Enterprise Business Development Manager is responsible for acquiring large enterprise customers for electric vehicle leasing solutions, building strong relationships with C-suite stakeholders, managing complex sales cycles, and supporting the setup of electric vehicle salary sacrifice schemes, all while promoting sustainability and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the acquisition of large enterprise customers for electric vehicle solutions.
  • Manage and lead complex, high-value sales cycles with C-suite stakeholders.
  • Advise and support prospective customers in building business cases for electric vehicle schemes.
  • Coordinate with legal, finance, and commercial teams to set up electric vehicle salary sacrifice schemes.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with key enterprise clients.
  • Identify targets, prospect new business opportunities, and exceed customer expectations.
  • Represent Octopus Electric Vehicles as the primary point of contact and voice for enterprise clients.

Requirements

  • Significant professional enterprise sales experience
  • A track record of exceptional sales performance
  • Highly skilled at identifying targets, prospecting, and exceeding customer expectations
  • Experience in managing complex, high-value sales cycles
  • Experience in building trusted relationships with C-suite stakeholders
  • Ability to drive direction, navigate the sales cycle, and fully engage within a high performing team
  • Ability to manage sales directly with large business customers, roughly speaking 3,000 employees
  • Experience in advising and supporting prospective customers, building detailed justification and business cases, and coordinating with legal, finance, and commercial teams to set up schemes
  • Must have a valid UK driving licence
