Job Description
A Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer responsible for installing and demonstrating smart meters to customers, providing energy-saving advice, and ensuring excellent customer service as part of the Octopus Energy Services team.
Key Responsibilities
- Install dual fuel smart meters in customer homes
- Demonstrate and explain how meters and in-home displays work
- Help customers understand energy savings and answer questions about green energy
- Ensure safety and customer service excellence during installations
- Collaborate with the support team to deliver high-quality service
- Adapt to evolving processes and reduce administrative tasks through technological support
Requirements
- Experience as a smart meter engineer with a track record of safety and customer excellence.
- Ability to represent the company's brands in customers' homes and communicate effectively with customers.
- Comfortable explaining how meters and in-home displays work, demonstrating energy-saving features, and answering questions about green energy initiatives.
- Willingness to perform meter installations and customer interactions in a professional and customer-focused manner.
