Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Load raw material into press in a prescribed manner paying attention to distribution of material for an even flow until mold cavities are filled
Responsible for the processes in the Operations chain, including safety, quality, production and material handling.
Monitor press operation to make certain lubrication, temperature, tonnage and cycle times meet operating specifications for each product.
Maintain a clean organized work area disposing of waste and trash to assigned areas.
Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area paying attention to oil, cured scrap, water and other foreign matter that could contaminate product before or after curing
Maintain accurate production and quality records
Remove trim and inspect molded parts for defects
Must be available to work overtime when required
Other duties as required by supervisor
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent, preferred
5+ years if experience
Manual dexterity commensurate to quickly unload and reload the parts from press
Stand for at least 8 hours at a time
Lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds
Eyesight commensurate to visually inspect parts
Ability to work with high temperature (120F) equipment and high machinery noise level using proper PPE.
Sets up, adjusts and operates machinery such as oven, balancing machine, dake press, manual and power operated hand tools as required.
