Key Responsibilities

Mentorship & Networking: Build a network of peers, managers and senior leaders to support your career path and aid your growth. Gain exposure to nVent professionals at every level who will act as formal and informal mentors during your internship.
Requirements
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in: Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, Public Health, or related field
Ability to complete a 12-week Full-Time Summer internship from June – August 2027 in Anoka, MN or Blaine, MN.
Graduating with an undergraduate degree between December 2027 and June 2028.
Candidates applying for nVent's Co-Op and Internship Program must have current work authorization and be legally authorized to work in the U.S. nVent does not provide work authorization sponsorship.
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
Willingness to learn and to work collaboratively with all levels within the organization
Energy to listen, desire to learn and ability to be resilient and adaptable through change
Strong work ethic and personal responsibility to see things through to completion
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Demonstrated leadership experience
Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety principles.
Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
Experience with data analysis and reporting.
Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial experience.
