Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Assemble electrical and electromechanical systems, frameworks, and enclosures employed in switchgear manufacturing
Perform point-to-point wiring between components following wiring prints, schematic diagrams, specification sheets, and Bills of Material (BOM)
Measure, cut, route, label, and terminate wire to specified lengths and standards
Install and connect electrical components such as terminal blocks, breakers, relays, control devices, and bus components
Review and interpret work orders, wiring diagrams, and schematics to identify materials and assembly instructions
Adjust, repair, or replace electrical components to resolve defects and ensure conformance to specifications
Identify, mark, and tag parts and assemblies for tracking, quality, and inventory purposes
Prepare finished products for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and minor touch-up work
Assist with loading or movement of completed assemblies when required
Maintain tools, equipment, and workstations in accurate working condition
Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all safety policies and procedures, attend safety meetings, and accurately use required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Support continuous improvement efforts and maintain quality and efficiency expectations
Requirements
Academic Background and Professional Experience
High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience, required
Prior experience in electrical assembly, wiring, or manufacturing preferred but not required
Comparable mix of education and experience may be taken into account
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
Ability to lift, push, or pull materials in accordance with job requirements
Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, electrical equipment, and moving machinery
Position classified as Medium Work, requiring exertion within defined weight limits
