Key Responsibilities
As our EHS Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and strengthening our Environmental, Health & Safety culture. You will work closely with employees, supervisors, and leadership teams to ensure safety remains a core value throughout the organization.

Drive a proactive safety culture and lead continuous safety improvement initiatives.
Lead the implementation and certification process of ISO 45001.
Coach and support employees and leaders on Environmental, Health & Safety matters.
Manage the incident reporting process and lead investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
Provide clear direction and support to achieve site EHS objectives.
Monitor and report progress toward safety and environmental performance goals.
Support Team Leaders and Shift Leaders in addressing EHS challenges and opportunities.
Promote employee engagement and ownership of safety across all levels of the organization.
Participate in and facilitate Lean and Six Sigma continuous improvement events.
Identify risks, implement preventive measures, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
Requirements
You are a proactive and hands-on EHS professional who enjoys working with people and driving positive change. You combine strong technical knowledge with excellent communication skills and know how to engage others in creating a safer workplace.
A completed education in Safety, Environmental Management, Occupational Health, or a related field.
Experience as an EHS Specialist or in a similar role.
MVK, HVK, or equivalent safety certifications are highly preferred.
Experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong communication, coaching, and organizational skills.
A proactive, solution-oriented, and results-driven mindset.
Fluency in both Dutch and English.
