Job Description
The role involves developing and integrating infrastructure for performance benchmarking and data pipelines to evaluate and improve the hardware and software systems of Nuro's autonomous driving platform, supporting testing and optimization of autonomy features.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate infrastructure for performance benchmarking of the autonomous driving system
- Build data pipelines and tooling to analyze system performance and contention
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and data teams to deploy and optimize new system designs
- Improve end-to-end testing workflows for autonomous features
- Work with data science team to develop tools and methodologies for performance analysis
Requirements
- Have 3 years of experience working in the software industry or related experience.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Experience with common infrastructure and data engineering concepts, Linux systems, and writing software for debugging prototype hardware.
- Experience setting team or project product and technical vision, timelines, and prioritization.
- Ability and willingness to deep dive into implementation, driving technical standards and best practices across broader software organization.
- Clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with PMs, engineers, and other stakeholders.
