Job Description
The role involves developing and integrating infrastructure and data pipelines to evaluate and improve the performance of autonomous driving systems, supporting testing workflows, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the Nuro Driver platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate infrastructure for performance benchmarking of autonomous systems
- Build data pipelines and tooling to characterize and analyze system performance and contention
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and data teams to deploy and optimize new system designs and workflows
Requirements
- Experience with common infrastructure and data engineering concepts, Linux systems, and writing software for debugging prototype hardware, with a minimum of 5 years of experience working in the software industry or related experience.
- Ability and willingness to deep dive into implementation, driving technical standards and best practices across broader software organization, with strong proficiency in Python.
- Experience setting team or project product and technical vision, timelines, and prioritization, and the ability to collaborate effectively with PMs, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Experience in performance engineering, especially around tooling integration perf, Perfetto, pprof, eBPF, NVIDIA Nsight Systems, NVIDIA CUPTI.
- Experience with on-prem infrastructure deployed on custom hardware.
- Experience with integrating AI tools into data analysis pipelines.
- Experience with NVIDIA DriveOS stack.
- Experience in robotics or autonomous vehicles.
- Experience with distributed systems.
