Job Description
This role involves advancing machine learning models for autonomous vehicles by developing perception and behavior systems, working with large-scale data and infrastructure, and deploying solutions to real-world self-driving technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and advance end-to-end machine learning models for autonomous vehicles, including perception and behavior generation.
- Experiment with and implement state-of-the-art ML architectures using large-scale real-world datasets and compute infrastructure.
- Research and apply novel solutions to complex AV challenges such as long-tail event handling, safety, and verifiable reasoning.
- Collaborate with autonomy teams to identify challenges and design holistic, learned solutions.
- Build and optimize data, training, evaluation, and validation pipelines for deploying models on autonomous vehicles.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience focusing on one or more of the following areas: Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, or a closely related field.
- An M.S. or Ph.D. degree is preferred in the relevant fields.
- Subject matter expertise and research experience in at least one of the following areas: Machine Learning, End-to-End Autonomous Driving Models, Imitation Learning, Reinforcement Learning, or World Models.
- Strong problem-solving skills and programming skills in Python are required.
- C programming skills are preferred.
- Ability to utilize coding best practices as part of your work.
- Demonstrated research publications at major conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CoRL, RSS, or ICRA.
- Ability to work independently to push multi-faceted projects forward, collaborate across organizations, and deliver results in a timely manner.

Compensation/salary range: $183,825.00 to $275,975.00 per year
