Job Description
The Project Finance Associate at New Leaf Energy will be responsible for participating in the development and financing of solar energy and energy storage projects, managing cross-functional teams, and overseeing project milestones from origination to financing closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage cross-functional teams to complete project development tasks
- Maintain project management tools to ensure organized processes
- Lead the creation and organization of detailed data rooms
- Track inter-departmental deliverables and forecast project milestones
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external clients
- Manage progress of permitting, interconnection, and associated contracts
- Assist in preparation and organization of legal transaction documents
- Assist in drafting and negotiation of critical project contracts
Requirements
- Minimum 2 to 4 years experience working in the renewable energy industry with a focus on project development and financing
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
- MBA desired
