Job Description
The Civil Engineer will lead the development of a topography-aware platform to optimize the design and performance of solar energy projects, focusing on civil grading, foundation design, and hydrology models. This role requires effective communication and collaboration while managing civil RFIs and generating technical reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and development of a topography aware platform for solar energy projects.
- Incorporate site terrain into design through civil grading design, foundation structural design, hydrology models, and product mechanical capabilities.
- Generate grading reports and conduct point file analysis.
- Map foundations and manage civil RFIs from customers.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate to enhance product line.
Requirements
- Candidates must be willing to travel at least 10-20% of the time for company off-sites, conferences, trade shows, site visits, and other potential events as needed.
- Experience in civil engineering with a focus on design, construction, and performance optimization of solar energy projects.
- Proficiency in processing civil grading design, foundation structural design, hydrology models, and product mechanical capabilities.
- Ability to generate grading reports, perform point file analysis, and manage civil RFIs from customers.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to serve customers and enhance product lines.
