Job Description
The Nebius IT Data Center Technician Early Talent program is a structured 3-month work experience designed to introduce early-career candidates to hands-on enterprise data center operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Duration: 3 months Start date: January 2027 Compensation: Paid Eligibility: Current University student (Computer Science or related field), Recent Graduate or Early Career specialist Work authorization: Permitted to work in the job's location
- As an IT Data Center Technician Early Talent participant, you will work on the data center floor under the direct guidance of an experienced DC Technician. All hands-on work begins under close supervision. As you demonstrate proficiency and adherence to Nebius safety and operational standards, you will progressively take on tasks with greater independence — working toward completing assigned activities with minimal supervision by end of program.
Requirements
- Ability to stand and remain on your feet for extended periods during active floor operations.
- Ability to safely lift and position equipment up to 50 pounds unassisted; heavier loads with team-lift support.
- Comfortable working at heights including ladders, raised platforms, and elevated data center infrastructure.
- Ability to work in confined spaces such as under raised floors, within rack enclosures, and in cable management pathways.
- Comfortable in environments with variable temperatures including cold aisle containment zones.
- Manual dexterity to handle small form-factor components, precision cabling, and fine connector installations.
- Ability to push or pull equipment carts and server sleds up to 500 pounds on level surfaces.
- Compensation We offer competitive salaries, ranging from $48k- $72k OTE (On Target Earnings) based on your experience
