Job Description
The Senior Vice President of Sales for Canada will lead the growth and strategic sales initiatives of Metergy's Canadian operations, building and maintaining client relationships, leading a national sales team, and driving revenue expansion in the submetering industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategy to drive revenue growth across Canada
- Build and maintain strong relationships with rental and condo developers, property owners, and managers
- Lead and manage a national sales organization to achieve growth targets
- Support sales efforts through opening doors, supporting pitches, and closing deals
- Deepen existing client relationships to increase revenue and profitability
- Accelerate new client acquisition and rental development sales
Requirements
- Experience in leading sales organizations and driving revenue growth, with a focus on building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with rental and condo developers, property owners, and managers.
- Ability to serve as both a strategic leader and hands-on leader by opening doors, supporting pitches, closing deals, and building and maintaining a high-performance sales team.
- Proven track record of achieving growth targets in a sales leadership role, preferably within the utility, energy, or submetering industry.
- Experience in developing and executing sales strategies to expand revenue and profitability, including deepening existing client relationships, accelerating new client acquisition, and executing rental development sales plans.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a national sales organization across Canada, with experience managing or supporting a team at a senior level.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills to establish and maintain trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Educational background or equivalent experience in sales, business, or a related field (specific degree requirements are not explicitly stated but implied as a minimum for senior leadership roles).
