Job Description
A Senior Software Developer at Metergy Solutions Inc. will lead the design and development of scalable, AI-assisted cloud-native solutions, modernizing legacy systems, shaping the technology roadmap, and mentoring junior developers to support the company's innovative submetering and billing platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of scalable, AI-assisted solutions across data and service platforms.
- Modernize legacy systems into a cloud-native architecture.
- Shape the company's technology roadmap.
- Mentor junior developers.
Requirements
- Experience in designing and developing scalable, AI-assisted solutions across data and service platforms.
- Proven ability to lead the design and development of cloud-native architecture systems.
- Experience in modernizing legacy systems into cloud-native architectures.
- Ability to shape and influence the technology roadmap of the organization.
- Experience mentoring junior developers and leading development teams.
- Strong skills in software development, including coding, testing, and deployment of scalable applications.
- Knowledge of submetering systems, utility measurement, or related energy management solutions (preferred but not explicitly mandatory).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Relevant educational background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working with data platforms and service-oriented architectures.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions.
- Experience with cloud platforms and cloud-native development tools and practices.
