Job Description
The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and closing new business opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and achieving sales targets for advanced submetering systems used in commercial and multi-residential buildings across North America.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and close new business opportunities within a defined region or customer segment
- Expand existing customer accounts
- Meet annual sales targets
Requirements
- Proven experience in developing and closing new business opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and meeting annual sales targets within a defined geographic region or customer segment.
- Technical proficiency related to advanced, revenue-grade electrical submetering systems used for tenant billing, energy management, and measurement verification.
- Strong understanding of multi-point submeters and meter-data management software used in commercial, multi-residential, and institutional buildings across North America.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales strategies for complex technical products in the submetering industry.
- Experience in working with building owners and occupants to provide utility consumption data and solutions.
- Ability to meet and exceed sales targets as part of a sales team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop client relationships and close sales.
- Willingness to travel within a defined geographic region or customer segment as required.
- Educational background or equivalent experience in a relevant technical or sales field (specific degree requirements are not explicitly stated but implied).
