Job Description
The Product Manager at Metergy Solutions is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of product strategies for their submetering and billing services, ensuring market-leading solutions that support energy management and decarbonization efforts in multifamily and commercial buildings.
Responsibilities
- •Manage product development and lifecycle for Metergy Solutions' submetering services.
- •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and strategies.
- •Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation.
Requirements
- •Proven experience in product management or a related role, with a strong understanding of submetering solutions, utility billing, or energy management systems.
- •Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- •Ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product strategy and development.
- •Experience managing product lifecycle from conception through launch and ongoing optimization.
- •Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- •Knowledge of SaaS business models, especially Submetering as a Service (SaaS), and experience with recurring revenue models.
- •Understanding of utility metering technologies, including electricity, water, gas, and thermal energy meters, and their installation and remote reading processes.
- •Experience working in a hybrid work environment, with the ability to work approximately 3 days in the office and travel occasionally to other office locations in Exton and Toronto, Canada, less than 20% of the time.
- •Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field.
