The Manager of Taxation is responsible for overseeing all Canadian and US tax filings, provisions, and compliance, as well as developing and implementing tax strategies for the organization, requiring advanced cross-border tax knowledge and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all Canadian and US tax filings and provisions
Oversee all tax-related accounting and compliance matters
Research, develop, and implement tax initiatives impacting the organization
Guide teams and manage cross-border taxation issues with advanced knowledge of Canadian and US tax laws
Requirements
Advanced knowledge of both Canadian and US tax laws.
Experience in managing all Canadian and US tax filings and provisions.
Experience in handling all tax-related accounting and compliance matters.
Demonstrated leadership in guiding teams and managing cross-border taxation issues.
Exceptional analytical skills to research, develop, and implement tax initiatives impacting the organization.
Ability to manage cross-border taxation issues between Canada and the US.
