Job Description
The Installations - Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the installation of submetering systems in multifamily and commercial buildings, coordinating project activities, and ensuring timely and accurate deployment of utility measurement solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate installation of submeters in multifamily and commercial buildings
- Oversee project timelines and ensure timely completion of installations
- Communicate with clients and team members regarding project status and requirements
Requirements
- Experience in coordinating installation projects related to utility submeters, including scheduling, overseeing, and ensuring timely completion of installations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and installation instructions for utility meters and related equipment.
- Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with clients, team members, and vendors regarding project status and requirements.
- Knowledge of utility metering systems, including electricity, water, gas, and thermal energy meters, and their installation processes.
- Experience working within a unionized environment, specifically under Unifor Local 975, or similar unionized settings.
- Willingness and physical ability to perform site visits and oversee installation activities, which may include physical tasks related to equipment handling and site inspection.
- Ability to work in a team environment and foster collaboration among diverse stakeholders involved in installation projects.
- Commitment to providing accurate and reliable utility consumption data and ensuring quality standards are met during installations.
