Job Description
A Test Engineer at Loft Orbital is responsible for designing, executing, and improving testing processes to ensure the reliability and performance of space hardware, working hands-on with various systems and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet mission requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and improve test processes for space hardware reliability and performance
- Work hands-on with systems from subsystems to full spacecraft during environmental, functional, and automated test campaigns
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and software teams to develop test plans, execute procedures, and analyze results to meet mission requirements
Requirements
- Experience in designing, executing, and improving test processes that ensure the reliability and performance of space hardware.
- Hands-on experience working with a range of systems from subsystems to full spacecraft supporting environmental, functional, and automated test campaigns.
- Ability to collaborate closely with design, manufacturing, and software teams to develop test plans, execute procedures, and analyze results to ensure satellites and components meet mission requirements.
- Strong English communication skills to effectively collaborate, convey complex ideas, and communicate important messages in an international team environment.
