Job Description
A Senior Site Reliability Engineer responsible for maintaining and scaling ground segment infrastructure to support space operations, applying DevOps principles to both terrestrial and spacecraft systems in a cutting-edge satellite manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and scale ground segment infrastructure for space operations
- Collaborate across development, operations, and IT teams to ensure service integration, delivery, and reliability
- Apply DevOps principles to spacecraft control and space infrastructure
Requirements
- Experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar infrastructure role with a focus on maintaining and scaling ground segment infrastructure.
- Proficiency in collaborating across development, operations, and IT teams to ensure the integration, delivery, and reliability of services supporting test infrastructure and space operations.
- Knowledge and application of DevOps principles, including automation and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), applied to spacecraft control and space infrastructure.
- Experience working with modern automated space infrastructure or similar complex, high-reliability systems.
- Ability to work on cutting-edge technology related to space operations and satellite deployment.
- Understanding of satellite operation, space mission support, or related space industry technologies is desirable (implied by the role's context).
